As Francais says good idea to test erect the tent. Same as Francais we had a slight problem with the ZIG on our second tent but with a little judicial filing of the plastic bits we rectified the problem. Luckily it was a test pitch as it would not have been clever trying to sort that out after you have arrived on a site after driving who knows how long. Files are not necessarily the type of thing we normally carry on holiday and not being able to zip the tent to the ZIG would not have been a good start.

Francais is right about communications. They never seem to reply to emails for some reason but they react quickly to snailmail (as I found trying to find a sun canopy). I had included my email address in the letter I sent to Cabanon at Dunkerque and had a very prompt reponse by email from the "Directeur Generale" himself no less. Once having made that contact I agree with Francais that the customer service was good.

Excellent choice. Although I don't have the Biscaya, I have the Hypercamp Avantgarde which is pretty much the same size and design, perfect size with good useable space, hope you enjoy!

A query which I will place here due to them being practically same size/shape is carpet. Up until last night I had only found a good match from Obelink but was quite expensive. For most UK tents you can get matching carpet but it does not state the size, but would they generally be to just fit the living area within? Or are they sized to fit the whole of the floor space including the bedrooms? It's just that I think I have found a tent in the UK which may be pretty much a perfect fit(if only covers living area). It's the Royal Winnipeg 6, am I right to think that the living space is 450 x 290? If so then that is EXACTLY the size I need and it's only £37 so would be even better!!
