We have the xxl llll and have found it to be an excellent tent. Ideal for weekends and short trips.
There are 4 of us and it has plenty of room inside. Very easy to put up and pack away.
Have not used it in pouring rain but did use it at the end of September last year at the Landrover show. It was very cold at night outside the tent but we were extremely warm inside. I took lots of blankets and warm clothing expecting the kids to be cold. None of them were needed as once the zip was shut there was no draughts at all. So much so our daughter, who is 4, slept in her vest on top of her sleeping bag!!
Quechuas are just fab IMO, I have one of the new Seconds Family 4.2 XL's basically new version of old 4.2 and a little bigger, big difference tho is it has flat access as you can put the flap down at the door, same with the new seconds family 4.1 version.

We use a smaller Quecha popup for overnight stops, certainly seems strong & well made. There is a knack to folding them up tho, does take a bit of effort. You do know the bag is a large disc? Its a bit more difficult to stow in car than a normal tent bag.
ive just bought a 4.2 for one night stays overnight stops etdc, so far it has been fab, on our 2nd attempt we can put it up within 7 mins. Ive sort of got the knack of putting it down, the disk just fits flat in the boot skoda octavia) so you would need the right size boot. Weve been away 2 weekends in our already this season

For all of your replies. Ease of pitching is a must for us, although we have the nevada m which certainly isnt the biggest tent. It seems to take an age to peg down etc.
We just want to arrive on site put it up quickly and relax. Ive looked at all the pop ups and the quecha xxl IIII seems to meet our requirements. 2 adults and a 4 year old.
Ive measured the disc and it should sit nicely on top of our equipment.
Thanks again now im really looking forward to checking these tents out tommorow.

Hi all. Well we went for the Quechua xxl IIII from Deacathlon yesterday. All the Quechua range displayed outside. What a big store it is.
The tent should be perfect for our needs and viewing it made our decission easy. The base 2 if thats what they are called were popular. Two being sold whilst we were there.
Managed to erect it and fold it away without hassel after watching the process on you tube. I believe the video i watched was a fella from Uks?
Had a small to do with my husband over "its gonna snap" "no its not "whilst packing away. Of course it didnt so our first outing Thursday should be fun. Cant wait.
These tents can take some beating, they will groan but havent heard of 1 breaking yet, if it does Decathlons customer services according to people on here's experiences are excellent.
Theyve went above and beyond for me too recently to get the new 4.2xl to me before it was release on the website.

Never been a problem here with condensation, there is vents as they have 2 skins. Ive had/got base seconds full, standard, old 4.2, seconds 3 man and the new seconds family 4.2 xl(not been able to try yet) but all others never had a problem with condensation.
The full and base standard are more living areas and dont have 2 skins but still when inside in bad weather never had a problem as they do have big vents in roof and upper halfs of the doors open too while raining due to canopies for ventilation, if I remember right these smaller tents do too as have a flysheet door and then the waterproof.
