My husband saw one of these yesterday. We are looking at it as another option to our Canvas Bell Tent which although great is not the best in wet weather, which we seem to have lot of at the moment. We are going away next week and had already decided to take the Monty 6 rather than the Bell Tent due to the weather. Monty's a great tent but very heavy and time consuming to put up.
This seems to tick another set of boxes.
Anyone got one or have any experience??
Its basically a teepee in the middle of a tunnel tent. So it looses the attractiveness of a teepee and some of the usability of a tunnel design. Looks no quicker to pitch than a tunnel tent too...
Only my opinion mind!

Planned for next year, hopefully!
Summer Solstice wild camp.
Chilled in a Field, July.
Crantock, August. Fouth year with the fantastic Quechua Base Seconds 4.2!
..... and the odd night wild camping in my Argos 1 man tent...
my friend bought one to replace her halfords tent that leaked.
she needed something she could put up alone with just the help of her kids.
she found it easy to put up,plenty of space and it looks amazing when pitched.
know they have it on display at raglan kit centre where she got hers.
overall i think she is really pleased with it
------------- tent and gear all packed away now and making plans for 2012

Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
I saw this on display at the Wokingham tent show and really liked it. The built in porch was great and the lounge was really spacious as were the bedrooms. The only thing I wasn't sure about was how long it would take to set up, with a bell tent there is just the one pole but this had one pole in the middle, two at the back and one at the front for the porch. Apart from that it looked really well made and was getting a lot of attention.

Hi
Thanks for your replies. Went ahead and brought this tent and have just returned from a week away.
I will put a review in the tents section when I get time but overall we were very pleased. It takes slightly longer than our Bell tent but if you include hanging the Inner I would say about the same. Quite a few guy lines but again probably no more that our Bell tent. Certainly attracts a lot of attention and looks very quirky on site.
We thought it would make a good compromise when the weather is not too good and wet. Certainly does that, just a shame the weather was so brilliant we couldn't really test it out!!! Sod's law. Like all polyester tents it was too hot during the day although there was plenty of ventilation but that's the nature of the beast! Still at the price a good buy and certainly ticked the boxes we wanted it for.
