hi just bought a Vango Diablo 900 tent with no poles from the infamous ebay and now need to source the poles! Obviously read reviews and realise what a great tent it is! Now can I buy the vango diablo 600 poles and add the ones that are missing or do I need the whole set designed for the 900?

All help and advice much appreciated! cheers x

the company has now kindly put a set on for me to buy at £129.99 for full set, however the diablo 600 is only £69 for full set thought £60 more for an extra bedroom is a bit much so going to keep looking. Think i will just have to buy them, sigh! thanks for your help x

Hi. If it is a Diablo 900, not a 900XP, the only difference between the poles is one extra pole for the third bedroom which will be the same as the ones for the other two bedrooms. I would go for the 600 poles and take one os the bedroom ones to a tent shop and simply buy the bits you would need. If it is the XP, then you're looking at two extra poles. Not worth the huge difference in cost I would have thought. The set on Ebay from Nearly New Tents is for the 600, NOT the XP. The extra pole you would need is one of the grey ones.

I find it strange why you would buy a tent with no poles - you cant even see it erected to know if its in good condition.

Hi thanks pete just what I wanted to here! Thank you asked that same question myself but was told no they are different sizes! Tentspares haven't got full set.
I totally agree with u Jeff but the price was very cheap so I'm taking a risk; it might not come and it might be damaged. Now that I've read so many reviews and forums I'm going to have to get the tent now, (if the one that is getting delivered is not the real thing!)
Money very tight and I took a risk, so i'll keep you posted! I was brought up with camping and I love it. It's just not cheap to start out! With four children I need a lot of stuff!

I am about to bye a used diablo 600 with no poles(for low cost)in greece this kind of tents are too expensive!is anybody know,what size and how many poles i have to search for?i cant find infornation at google,thank you!
