Hello all ,my first post.

After months of head scratching we have just bought a croyde 6  from outdoor megastore.I had done a lot of research on this and hope we have made the right choice.Anyway its just arrived so on friday its time for our trial pitch and im sure i have read to not take any notice of the kampa instructions on pitching. which begs the question on how to pitch the easy way.

Thanks debs398,We will try the way kampa suggest and report back,if all goes well we will spend a couple of nights in it.Kids are really looking forward to it having made the break from a bongo with awning set up it will be nice to have a bit more room.

We tried putting up our Filey 'the Kampa way' and found that all the poles gathered together was very awkward and heavy. 

We used 'the Gary way' from then on and it's a breeze!  It made all the difference from dreading putting it up

Well its up! All done in an hour using the gary way,very pleased with how it went for a first pitch, im sure we will get quicker with the plenty of practice we are hoping to have.well pleased with the tent so far i think we did make the right choice but time will tell. It was boiling putting it up in sun and since then its clouded over and started raining,Ha ha,thats cornwall for you.

Quick update,Rained solid for 4hrs and being honest im glad it did. Not a drop came in and it was proper rain as in the deafening type and windy with it.What a great tent that has already enhanced our camping fun.Wife and kids love it so much that we are going to camp again tonight regardless of  what the weather brings.
