The base of the inner first toggles through fastenings on the groundsheet.
On the earlier model Biscaya the inners are then suspended with plastic clips (same as the bedroom inner clips on Cabanon frame tents) which fasten over the pole sleeve. These were later replaced by the metal 'S' hooks which hook into a perforated tape stitched behind the pole sleeve, because the plastic clips used to pop off when the tent moved in the wind etc.
Since yours is the later model, Duffs, it'll have the 'S' hooks.
I'd seriously think about fastening the metal 'S' hooks onto the inner and closing one end of the hooks with a pair of pliers, so they are permanently attched, to save on pitching time in future.
There are a couple of plastic hooks on elastics lower down, where the front of the inner clips directly to the alloy frame (ie where there is no pole sleeve).
I think the inners on the Awaya attach in the same way (as I'd hoped to find out, when I bought the one advertised on here, last month! )
