Hi, just had our first weekend out for the year in the Nevada M, and realised that with the littlest one walking now, it's just a wee bitty too small. On the lookout for something that will sleep 6 (3 double airbeds) and has both a living area and a front porch bit for cooking, boot storage etc. We love all things Outwell, but their prices for what we're after are a bit scary. Any cheaper recommendations?

Have a look at some of the Kampa tents they are well made, well priced but often overlooked

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
we have an Outwell Montana 6 but were looking at Kampa tents at the weekend. We liked the Filey 6 and the Croyde, both great tents and much cheaper than the Outwells.
Thanks for that. The online info looks good. Got a local tent show this weekend, but they tend to only show Outwell and Vango. Will keep fingers crossed as I love the look of the Croyde 6, though I suspect that having been Outwell fans for all our family-camping time, we'll be unable to 'downgrade' after all! Back to the hassle of putting up the Nebraska XL I guess...

Thanks. Maritsa looks ok, Monte Verde out of our price range. Now considering getting a Quechua pop up daytent and just squeezing into the Nevada M a little longer. One day the perfect tent will come along!
Take a look at the Suncamp Global 600 for sale on Ebay. Starting bid at 85.00 - lovely tunnel tent with double rooms and lots of living space and a full canopy included.
Hi we have the hi gear colarado 4 but can get a six berth. It has a canopy attached to the rtent and if you pay the extra canopy you have lots of room outside. we have the canopy and we put evrything outside. We brought as a weekend but its that big we are thinking of using it as our main tent.Could be worth a look.
Thanks everyone. Just to let you know that I am following up all suggestions! Our one and only tent show is coming up this weekend, so hopefully will see the Vango Amazon, then perhaps get one second hand. It's difficult, as most ebay tents are collect in person from somewhere a bit too far south!

Even if it's collect in person you can use a site like interparcel.com to arrange a low cost collection. Just have to negotiate a bit with the eBayer...
Have pretty much talked myself into a Quechua base as a kitchen pod, that'll give us another 2 years in the Nevada M and is the cheapest of all options.
