Is there any truth in the suggestion that the A class are the best Cabanons, ie the Athena and the Aruba, the C Class are middling like the and the E Class like the Elodie are the entry level or older ones. Like Mercedes but in reverse.
If this is the case where do the M's like Montepellier and the Marina fit in?
------------- Manor Park Farm, Cromer every august, but somewhere different every may/June.
4 years of superior packing yet still no room in the car
I don't know where M's fit in - lower down the order I suspect.
A's were the higher models, they had front sections that could be rolled all the way up and more windows.
E's were lower - I think the fabric of our E is thinner than the canvas of the A BUT our E is also quite a bit older so it may be difficult to tell.
I'm not sure if C's fall in the middle, the C's were all smaller models I think so like the M's may just have been different rather than being better or worse...
The canvas of the C's, the M's and the A's seem very much the same to me - my Calais, Aruba and Montpellier had the same sort of weight & feel. Don't know about the E's - haven't had one. Not necessarily the size either as the Atlantic is small. I think it's more to do with the age of the model. Having said that, the early Antiguas have been around for a while.
Where would the Isabelle fit in????? And the Scenario??? Barbados??? Guadeloupe??? Noumea???
I think Cabanon originally had a plan then it all went a bit haywire!
