I saw a picture on the forum from toonarmy20 it shows a tarp attached to the front of a montana 6? is there special clips or did he tie it down with rope or string? I like the idea of keeping rain off the front and I wont have enough room for a canopy. Kind regards-

Agree with moose about the canopy, its not available new as Outwell discontinued them but you can still find them on Ebay if you keep looking

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
Moose said extension not canopy there is a difference! :)
I've seen reports on canopy that it acts like a sail in bad wind I guess thata why it's no longer made still it would be easier and better fit than a basic tarp

We use the £25 Vango Adventure Tarp on the front of our Vango Columbia 600 which is wider than the Montana 6. The tarp has an elasticated side 296cm long which is about 30cm longer than the steel roof pole of our Columbia and more than likely longer than the roof pole of the Montana. You just guy tight to secure it behind the front pole. All we do is add a set of longer guyropes and the tent's porch poles and it shelters the front of the tent sufficiently to BBQ out the front in wet weather. It only takes a couple of minutes to pitch so we put it up and take down as needed. It is so flexible we use it for all our tents and have not bothered with any of the canopies. Comes in various colours although we have the escalibur (grey) as that means it goes with both our blue and green tents. The tarp is fire retardant and made of the same materials as the Vango tents - this year they are 3000HH. You can see it in our gallery on the front of our tall Kampa Bude 4.
------------- Love our set-up and need no more tents or gear, so trying to stop looking!
