Just done it, ordered a new tent, the 5m ultimate from belltent.co.uk 

Was a little undecided between soulpad and belltent but we eventually want an inner and the belltent inner has an extra divider but there is no mention of this on soulpads website, I have a feeling it might fit ok in a soulpad tent and really preffered their price but would be more than disappointed if it didnt fit so went with the more expensive option.

Hope we've done the right thing.

Hi Val I notice you have a carpet in one of your pics, have you sewn some together or made it yourself?

eldest son is nagging for a carpet, and i have to agree it would be nice if it doesnt take up too much packing space.

Why do you feel you need a 4,5 &6m tent, please dont tell me you cant find pitches for big tents.

Then again you wouldnt be buying a 6m if that was the case

It's just outwell carpets stitched together in a huge circle

Even more daunting I now have to make an additional seperate ring to go round the outside for the 6m...

Haha using a 4m as a kitchen tent, I like that - bet you took up half the campsite with a 4 and a 5 pitched together.

With 3 teenagers i understand why the need for a 6m.

I think i need to look out for sales of tent carpets and get sewing.
