Just signed up as i have been searching the web endlessly looking at tents and trying to find advise before making a purchase. Came across this site and where better to look for advise than from other campers so hope someone can help me out or at least advise a bit.
Im looking for a 3 berth tent and have more or less come down to two, the Vango Beta 350 or the Coleman Coastline 3. I like the look of the Vango more and bit more room in sleeping area (though not much) however the Coleman has a bathtub style ground sheet in living area (assume better for keeping water out.
I don't know about quality of the tents, which is best, easiest to put up etc. If anyone could help with any further info or recommendation then it would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Graeme

Do you mean a three berth tent, or a tent for three people?
I ask because when three people are trying to sleep in a "three berth" inner tent they'll probably realise the description was perhaps a little optimistic, and one of them will be more comfortable in the living area.
Budget - £70 to £100
Tent mainly for 2 adults, with plenty of space.
Main Purpose - Weekend use
Polyester or Poly Cotton/Canvas - Dont know differences or benefits of each. Help???
Looking for easy to pitch and can be done by one person if needed.
Preferably have sleeping area and living area as well.
Cheers
Graeme

Im looking for a 3 berth for 2 people so we have some additional space as reading reviews etc i found as you say the descriptions are a bit optimistic for sizes.
