I'm looking to upgrade to a Montana 6 or Vermont L. I have been inside a display Montana 6 as they are easy to find in camping shops but have yet to find anywhere near me with a Vermont L on display to compare. Seeing as the Vermont L is about the same size as a Montana 6 if it has an added extension I would really like to stand in one to make a decision - does anyone know of a stockist near London?
Does anyone know anything about the 2011 Montana 6 windows rubbing on the poles and breaking? I was thinking about splashing out on a brand new version but if the larger windows have this fault I think I'll keep my eye out for a 2nd hand one!

If you're thinking of Monty6 or Vermont L.
Go for Vermont L. In my understanding, Montana6+awning=Vermont L with wardrobe.
But, mind you, front part of Vermont L is called porch which means possibly wet-area. Some people are complaining about slope which I couldn't understand.
If the options are only those two then go for the Vermont. Look up the Yeomans Outdoors website - they have tent displays in several parts of the country at various times of the year and always have at least one of the Vermonts.
However, if you are willing to consider other tents then think about the Kampa Croyde 6 and Filey 6. They come with built in canopy and optional vestibule (which encloses the canopy) and are great quality at better prices than the Outwells.
Hi
Give P J camping in St Albans a ring they may have one on view otherwise Yeomans in Northampton. Also this weekend there is supposed to be a tent show in Chorleywood
We had a Montana before we bought the Vermont and can honestly say for us the Vermont is a nicer tent. Something to bear in mind is the Montana bedrooms are split 3-3 and the Vermonts split 4-3

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
I think I'll head to Camping World at Frensham as they have the Kampa's that Former Scout suggested as alternatives to the Outwell's to look at there too
