I ordered a Gelert Lakesbury 5 porch to fit on my Hi Gear Mojave 5 tent on 5th May. Had confirmation that money had been taken but heard nothing else at all.
Chased via email, but still nothing.
After trawling on the web for a while managed to finally find their phone number (not displayed on website) & called them to find out what's going on.
Spoke to a friendly chap in the shop, who said that they didn't have stock of the porch as they had been waiting for them to come in from China. I asked if I could speak to someone from the internet side of the business & was told no, they do everything via email. They are unloading lorries this morning & will email me later today/tomorrow to confirm my order (??????). I stressed that I need it for this weekend & will cancel my order if it's not here by lunchtime on Friday.
Quite p'd off to be honest, wanted the porch for this weekend's trip away, so ordered in plenty of time for it. Why oh why do companies insist on showing stock available when they haven't even received delivery yet. I run an internet business myself and only ever have stock on the site that is physically here with us.
Has anyone else had any dealings with ABC? How have you got on with them? So far I'm not impressed with the major lack of customer service. Wish I'd bought it from somewhere else now.
Thanks for reading if you've got this far - rant over!!

Have read some horror stories, from folk visiting the retail shop, my only dealings have been online, for the purchase of a Cabanon PN20 Utility Tent, a couple of years back, bargain price and quick service to boot, so I can nly speak highly of them.
been lots of thread on here about ABC mainly their lack of customer service in the shop from what i recall.

Wow, should I actually congratulate ABC Camping....think this is the latest they've managed to get into a camping season before their first complaint appears on this website!!!!
