well just back from 4 days in perth,tent in tact(well kind of thrown in back of car.
i am very proud of my tennessee for standing up to the weather over the weekend.had lots of very heavy rain.tent bone dry.only complaint is the front groundsheet(zipped).the front door had a few drops of rain coming. in due to the wind,thinking of getting some Velcro?
started to get very windy through the night,few shakes but all was well.taking it down in 60mile gusts was another matter!!!thank god there was 4 of us or it would have ended up in field over the road!!hope i dont have to do that very often(scary how strong wind can be)
still had a great weekend,something sooo good about being cozy in your sleeping bag with the rain hammering down.cant wait for next trip
now that the tent has had a few trips will put a review on the tent review page.

We used the tent so many times last year,from short weekends to full weeks down in devon.still love it just as much,the space is great when you have kids,also the poles for hanging clothes at back comes in handy, the poles in porch area are great for drying towels ect.
My only complaint is its a bit big to use for short weekend breaks,as it takes a bit of time to get all set up(mind you i do bring a lot of stuff)
I do have lots of pics,will just have to try to work out how to upload them to here.(will get my son to help me)
will let you know if i manage to get them onto the tent review page.

Looking forward to the pics

This reminded me of a trip I had a few years ago near Whitby. I can't remember which campsite it was but the tents pitched near the cliff edge and if that wasn't scarey enough it was well windy!! I had to get my nephew to lie on the tent until I got it pegged down for fear of losing the whole thing into the sea. I must admit it was hilarious putting the tent up, just shows hows strange my sense of humour is LOL
