I'm never that concerned about mud flaps, probably because we rarely use a groundsheet. Some of our Cabanon ones hang outside, some poke in. When it's wet I try to stick them outside and then any rain drains away from the tent rather than going inside under the groundsheet.

We have a lovely OLD cabanon noumea (not new style) Having previoulsy camped in moddern poly tents we love our retro tent to bits. The smell, look and sturdiness of a decent Canvas frame tent is hard to beat (see galleryfor pic)
