Hi, I've had my C&C bell tent for 2 seasons now. Not had heavy use. We did 10 days in Norfolk last year and it went well.

ps edited to say it's not an A frame as such, there doesn't seem to be a picture of it on their site anywhere. But it has small vertical sections each side, THEN comes together to form an A shape.

The only think that bugs me about it is the metal A frame, does anyone else have one of these and find that it's really difficult to line up and fit properly. One of the tabs the A Frame fits on came off near the start ( I think? Or some problem like that), but as this was my second one (had problems with the first one they sent having missing tabs/tabs sewn on wrong way and they kindly sent another), so I've not done anything about it. I'm not sure the tab is the problem really. I  just never know really how to make it stand straight up, it seems to so easily slouch inwards, even though the tent is secure, and I never know whether the legs should stand on the groundsheet or just outside it. Basically it doesn't seem to really fully line up with the seams of the tent and the tabs seem a bit feeble at holding it up and I end up having to kind of lean stuff against it to keep it propped.

Not a big huge deal, but just incase anyone has some tips or has had similar issues they've rectified?

Also, will try to invest in an inner this year I think, if funds stretch. Got chilly last time. Does anyone know if any inner fits inside these tents or only the canvas and cast ones? They are not v cheap..eek.

Hi maddeus

I can't help, but there are a few on here with C&C Bells that I am sure will be along soon. Do you have a picture of the A frame set up? It may make it easier for someone to advice if they can see what it is.

I have a soulpad bell tent with an A frame, I don't like the way it slides about, so just use a single pole in the middle. It is possible to lean the single pole to one side without forming creases so during the day that is what I do. At night, it goes on top of the ground sheet which is seperate not a SIG or ZIG and helps keep it neat during the night.

Canvas tent, paraffin light, petrol stove. Heaven
I'd rather be kayaking.
Spent up, not pent up, just had my new tent up.
