just been told by a sales man at go outdoors in wolverhampton that the long awaited tent extention for the hi-gear mojave 5 has just been removed from their listings.
so i guess hi-gear will not be able to supply for the 2011 season.does not bode well !.
as i also was told that hi-gear only manufacture for go outdoors very strange.

Hi, gelert make the Hi gear range for go so you might have some joy thru them, My lakesbury 5 is the same as the Mojave 5 and they are now available for them, not sure about colours tho but i have seen blue gelerts.
So the mythical mojave canopy remains a ........myth

Dear Tania,
Thank you for contacting Go Outdoors. Unfortunately we do not have a definate delivery date for the Mojave 5 porch. The only information we have from the manufacturer is that the porch will be available in June.
I am sorry we are unable to assist further in this mater; please do not hesitate to contact us should you require any further information.
Kind regards, Helene Carrapatoso
Might send another email next week!

Go Outdoors have Gelert tents rebranded Hi Gear so that they can make up ridiculous retail prices so they can offer you a seemingly fantastic discount. But at the same time it means that you can never use their price promise because nobody else sells Hi-Gear branded tents.
The foot print for my tent is £20 at Go Outdoors, Gellert equivalent £15, Carpet £40 at Go Outdoors, Gellert equivalent £28. It is all a scam really like DFS & Carpet right with their permanent sales.
Hi Dave, I can understand your frustration in Go Outdoors - we originally wanted a Mojave 5 but because of the offer that was on at the time we couldn't get one at any of their branches! we then bought the Lakesbury5 which, IMO, is of superior quality to the Hi-Gear tents (can't speak ill of the Mojave but we have owned and since sold on a Caplan 5 and Zenobia 6).

Are you seriously suggesting that go outdoors would make up rediculous high retail priced to give even more rediculous discounts and then you even go and prove it, well quite frankly im shocked. Not really always thought the same. And guess what no price matching on Hi Gear products
