Hi Guys
New to campimng and just about to purchase a 4yr old cabanon pacific cooton tent.
I will only be camping( mostly in Scotland and sometimes in the rest of the UK.
can anyone give advise on a cooton tent for this purpose or is a typical Vango polyester with fibreglass poles gooing to be better?
Obviously a local slaes is trying to convince me that polyester fibreglass poles is going to be better, as they only concerned with sales turnover.
can anyone please advise?
The Cabanon Pacific has aliminium poles
Thanks
Michael

Hi and Welcome,
We have the Pacific. It's our most used Cabanon tent..........Love it. Easy to put up and very very sturdy.

We have the pacific. Great tent and the poles are really light compared with the normal cabanon poles. The space is great for two people if you don't need a gin palace.
I love Cabanon and have several of their tents.
The only problem with Cabanon when camping in Scotland is there is not much in the way of midge protection.

I'd just love a Pacific and scour eBay every day but there are never any for sale. Those who have them are hanging on to them!

Cabanon Pacific every time! Strong, calm, steady and v light and easy to put up solo. We've had some quite windy conditions on the campsite recently and I know the Pacific would have been fine but the nylon standing height tunnel tents have been bucking and dancing all over the place.
