Hi fellow campers :-)
After some really useful advice, I have reduced my list of possible purchases to 3 tents:
Royal Bordeaux 6ZG
Kampa Studland 8
Vango Amazon 600
I am looking for a tunnel tent (with a porch area), that has a nice bit of space inside. I quite like the Kampa and Royal as it has that extra side room for storage, and that they seem to both be very light and airy, the Amazon doesnt seem to have as much light going into it, but hard to tell with photos.. The royal I believe has a inner partition to split the inside room further if needed. But thats the main difference I think between them.
Really just wanted some advice on which one I should go for - planning to get a bargain on ebay... I havent seen any of the tents in person, but have had a look on reviews and each of the websites.
Any advice would be most grateful.
Thanks in advance: -)

ive sold 5 studlands this week alone and are brilliant tents. they have the stronger material and better uv protection on them also.
I am biased in stocking this particular tent but they are selling really well and not had any problems with them (touch wood)

Thanks Ben
Can I ask: Its quite hard to see what they are like on the inside. I am pretty fussy when it comes to it being too hot, can the windows unzip? if so do they have mesh on them to stop the bugs from coming in????

angie if a porch is really important to you look at the vano maritsa, there is a 500, 600 or 700,it has a built in porch with fully sewn in ground sheet, and mesh on all doors, plus the canopy is fully enclosed[has zip up doors],well worth a look.

I'd go with Kampa everytime now.
I've got the Pendine 8 (Porch added on) and wish I bought it 3 tents ago. Quality tents great prices.
------------- I'm working class, I do what I have to do, to get by.

Quality wise I would go for the Kampa.
Vango are having no end of trouble this year with Quality Control.
Not sure about the Royal as not seen them, so in order of preference it would be Kampa, Royal and Vango last due to Q'C
others to consider are outwell vermont L or XL,

I have a kampa polzeath and our camping friends have a royal winni.
Both superb tents, The later Royals seem slightly better than the old ones. The Kampa just has the edge IMO.. } no Bias !!!

lol its down to both those tents really. As you have a Kampa and compared to the Royal Winni, what makes it have the winning edge? - I was reading that the Royals leak and the poles tend to bend but not sure if they were the old models. :-)
