Hi Mixz, we have the gelert olympus 8, we have also got the vector canopy, although it does cover the sky light it did not bother us, although i will say that after about half hour of it being up 1 of the guy lines did break. We took it back and the place has agreed to repair it free of charge with stronger stuff. I have some pics of it with the tent on my page.

OH says 2 x 2 should be big enough. Not sure on the size of the canopy though, but we could fit 2 chairs and the kitchen under it and still have plenty of room. Im really pleased with it and hopefully it will be ok next time we use it as we had to have it repaired as 1 of they guy lines at the back snapped off, but i would recommend the canopy

If there is still material left to refix it to you could use one of these

Hi Chris, that was the problem we had with ours, it happened the 1st time we used it with in half an hour. Not happy with it we took it back to where we had bought it and they told us that we could either replace it or they could repair it for us with stronger ends. They told us that it had happened to a few so I am asuming this is a manufactring fault with the canopy. We decided to go with getting it repaired as we liked having the canopy. Hope this helps in some way
