What to buy is a dilema facing a lot of people at the moment when money is tight. Cheap and Cheerful versus beans for a week and a better quality tent.
Now I dont know if they are still doing it but I believe it was Yeomans who were doing a "buy now pay later" deal which might be worth checking out

Actually, I think that was a "pay 10% deposit now to reserve your tent" (eg for the delayed Airbeams).

Hi,
Have a look at the sprayway valley 8, it is massive. We use 3 of the double bedrooms and it leaves us with a large lounge, side annex
( used as an ensuite bathroom), walk in wardrobe, a large storage area at the back and a covered front porch. It also has lots of really good storage compartments including a large one for shoes ( big enough to fit my son in). We have used it in all weathers and it has stood up to everything and is really well made, the only downside is the large pack size and weight, but it does come in a wheeled holdall.

Ive just seen your question, queries etc and just a note regarding the fuel cost if you went to collect.
I saw a tent on ebay i fancied (ive just sold my Icarus 500 i bought in May because there was just the 1 window and im a little claustraphobic) and it was at the other side of the country. Whilst i ws perusing ebay i found a company advertising tent collection and delivery in 24 hours so i contacted them and got a very quick reply back, in fact it was over the weekend!
I got quoted for a tent weighing up to 50kgs £25 door to door and delivery would be 24 hours from collection, the tent does have to be either in cardboard or bubblewrap and must be 1 parcel. I thought £25 was pretty reasonable for door to door service, cant remember the name of the company but they are within the tent liistings.... somethng like P & C .... dont quote me on that though but it is 2 letters.
I cannot comment on the service as the tent went above my limit for a 2nd hand one, after all that in the end i bought a brand new Outwell from a local dealer ...... Good luck
