Please help us. Back in the 80's we were big campers with our 2 boys. The boys grew up and we sold the caravan and enjoyed many holidays around the world. We now have 3 beautiful grandchildren and want them to experience the fun that their dad had. Can anyone advise us as to the best tent to buy, there are so many. We want a good sized, all round family tent. We have also a four legged member of the family. Love this site but my head is mashed lol.

You will no doubt get quite a few suggestions, however the best thing is to try and see some tents before you buy.

I have to be honest neither of your 2 choices would be on my short list

Depends on what your budget is.

Sprayway have had some up and down reviews just recently.

We looked at a Corado today at Go Outdoors and to be honest wasnt very impressed eldest walked in it went yuk and walked out. Just a personal view on this tent though as a lot of people like it

The Kampa Studland is a very nice tent as are the Outwell Vermonts

we have a Vango Tigris 800 and would recommend it to anyone, we slept in it in may with my daughter her bf and son, my nephew his gf and son, my 16 yr old daughter and obv me and my OH  in total 9 people, we werent ontop of each other and found it comfortable, we do however have a tunnel extension also and its very useful for storage. I have added photos of it to the tent review section.

We have looked at the vango Tigris and was very impressed. The reviews seem to favour the vango. Thank you for your help

the corrado 6/8  are great tents ,metal poles too ,have a look at the kalahari 10 as well ,
