Hi, we are looking to invest in a Montana 6 and Awning, we are a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children) and we think size wise this combination is perfect, however we would like, on short breaks, take 2 extra adults. Can anyone with this combination tell me if there would be enough space.
Thanks for reading any advice will be great.

You could always put a pop-up in the tent or awning during the night-time for the extra adults and collapse it during the day. If your children are small you might be able to squeeze everyone in the bedroom pods by sleeping several to an airbed.
------------- Love our set-up and need no more tents or gear, so trying to stop looking!
------------- Experience enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.
Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again

Hi , the tent would be big enough if two adults slept in the living are , why not go for the Vermont xl or similar , that way you'll always have enough room
I personally only think the Montana 6 is only a four person tent but then i like a bit of room ......not packed in like sardines......lol
I have the Montana and it's perfect for 2 adults and 1, possibly 2 children. The awning is an excellent addition however relying on it for extra sleeping space wouldn't be great. As you've seen in recent weeks high winds can be a real danger to a tent and the last thing you want is to have to take this down (which is advisable in high winds) and be left with everyone on top of each other.

We used to sleep in the living area, and just lifted bed and put it ontop of other in bedroom in morning, felt it big enough in living area with all of us on rainy days, but ended up getting a Kampa Pendine 8 for extra bedrooms for us all.
But if it's just going to be extra adults on a weekend I think it would be fine, over a week or more and then you would all get in the way of each other, if weather is good you only use it to sleep in I suppose.
