by my reckoning we will get our tent, extension and footprint just before august holiday( all from cig money).Starting to compare prices and whilst the GO price match works out we could save about £80 overall I would be happily choose to pay more for good aftersale service. A lot of money is being spent and should there be a problem with the tent wondering who would likely be moe helpful?
any experience of after sale service from GO or Yeomans? would rather go and buy the tent than order online so these 2 and a smaller camping shop are our choices.

Good question
Dont have an answer
But good question
------------- Experience enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.
Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
I recently bought a montana 6 and lots of other kit from Go Outdoors in Harlow. I originally changed my mind on the tent ( initailly bought a different one), then had a slight issue with new tent and had to exchange.
Go outdoors were brilliant, the best customer service i have ever experienced. Knowlegeable and friendly staff, no quibble exchanges, good advice.
I couldn't fault them.

Yeomans for us. They changed our tent bought at the end of last season for a brand new one with no problems, all the staff seem so much more knowlegeable and it feels more like a specialiality store.
Go on the other hand want to keep our sons tent for 14 days to inspect his tent although the faults are obvious, meaning another 20 mile journey to get it back!
I think it depends on the management though. The Wolverhampton one must have changed because I've never had issues before. Dealings I've had lately have been far from courteous tbh.
------------- Are you sure you've read the instructions?
probably good and bad reports for each I would imagine, though its good to know both stores have the ability to provide good service. go is a lot nearer than yeomans, and we are close to Raglan kite and camping centre, though while a small shop are always helpful. I would like to give a small shop my business to be honest rather than a chain however sometimes chains are more able to write off a damaged /faulty tent and agree to an exchange easier.
obviously we hope not to have anything faulty
