Can anyone offer any advise? We camp 3/4 times a year with a large group of friends who all have tents we have a caravan however we have decided to sell the van and buy a tent it's a lot of money tied up in the van for 3 hols a year. Our 3 teenage children are keen to continue camping with us and love the idea of a tent. In order to accomodate everyone I'm looking for a tent where everyone has their own bedrooms we also have 2 dogs and dont travel light. Space weight and cost isn't a concern just want to make sure we get the right tent.
So ...... were considering the polycotton outwell wolf lake 7. Would like another 2 bedroom pods so looking at attaching the outwell polyester Vermont xl awning. I have spoken to some tent dealers who say it should fit ok ,so wondered if anyone else has mixed polycotton with polyester. Out of choice would only have polycotton but just can't find a tent big enough?

Theres no problem mixing the two fabrics, there will however be a colour difference between the two fabrics. You do realise that this will not actually give you "2 extra bedroom pods" as there will be no inners.

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again

we have teenagers and they now use a pup tent so we get our tent all to ourselves, they prefer it this way as they have their own space away from the adults, plus it also gives us a bit of privacy

Before Outwell brought out the Bear Lake front extension, several BL owners used the polyester Montana extension to good effect. There is a shade difference in the green though - it's lighter in the Lake range of polycottons. Good luck.

My advice is worth no more than the price paid for it
As it turns out our eldest daughter has said she would love a small tent of her own. This has made things much simpler and we now think our best option would be to buy a Kampa Studland 8 classic as this has enough room for everyone. However many thanks for all your comments they were much appreciated.
