Having bought a 2011 Filey 6 last week, we got the opportunity to test pitch it in the garden today. My wife has camped for many years but I'm new to this so wasn't sure how easy it would be. What we did do, however, is watch the video done on YouTube by Gary Cross and we felt this made it look straightforward - more so than the intructions.
As it turned out, it was straightforward using Gary's suggestion of pitching the middle pole set first and working outwards. We got it up without any problems or arguments which given it was 30° C out there was surprising!
The tent is very impressive and we're pleased with our choice. It is pretty big!
First trip away will be August so looking forward to it.
Thanks again Gary - your video is much appreciated.
