Do any of you tent Guru's know of a tent similar or same in size, shape, ease of pitch, single pole, etc to the Cabana but with the addition of window/s.
I know there are 2nd hand canvas ones out there but I could'nt physically manage the weight of canvas. I'm pocket size (4'10") with health/mobility issues and this tent fit's the bill for solo pitching.
The Cabana would be ideal spec for me IF ONLY it had a window. Maybe I'll just get one and chop a big hole in the side

Hi we have several pyramid tents and have had others in the past but every one has been canvas the only tent i have seen with a single pole and windows and of course not to heavy is the souix 500 from obelink it is 2kilos lighter than the cabana but i have no idea what the tent is like but most of the tents from obelink seem to be decent quality never heard anyone on this forum complain about obelink you can see the tent on the obelink website if you click on the union jack at the top of the page it takes you to the english site then click on dome/tunnel 4-8 persons and scroll through the pages you will find the tent but you will have to make your own mind up if its worth buying or not.
Hi D & L. Had a look at the Souix. Plus side is it's under 10kg. Minus side no inner and it's 4-8berth, really only need 3-4max as there's only me. The Eldorado looks great but at nearly 23kg - no way. Thanks anyway. Any more suggestions anyone?, pref poly for weight. Pretty please.

Growing old disgracefully!!
I am a single young lady of 64 , 5'2" who has a naughty neck and back, and I have the Quechua 2Seconds XXL IIII and the the Djakarta pyramid tent.
I have been camping in France for past month with the Quechua (150cm height)and it has survived several thunderstorms, high winds and has been a great investment at £99.
I did not take the Djakarta because I'm touring and wanted the option of moving every few days - the Quechua is a breeze to pitch (watch the video on You Tube) for a new camper like me. No SIG but that has not been a problem. It is a great tent for just one person - any more would be a bit cramped!
No need to worry about the weight of a canvas tent such as the Hypercamp Djakarta which has no SIG - you can pack the outer, inner and poles separately, so you are not lugging a heavy tent in and out of a car as you would if it had a SIG
The only problem with the Quechua, and all polyester tents, is that in temperatures of 30C+ they are a tad warm inside during the day. I have the tarp from Decathlon and this helped me keep calm and cool!
Good luck!!
