Right, I am looking at getting a smaller 'weekend tent'. We have a big family tent so looking at something smaller so that I can take my daughter/son with me and leave OH at home!! with all of the following:
1. Under £150 (preferably a real bargain)
2. 3 man tent ideally
3. Def a SIG
4. Porch area that has standing height
5. Must be quick and easy to pitch alone
6. Weigh under 15kgs
7. Not a pop up tent
I know it's a big ask but no point in settling for something that doesn't have everything I want if there is the 'perfect tent' out there for me.
Many thanks for any suggestions///

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
We have the Nevada M which is the 5 berth but all the Nevadas are nice tents. On our M the front door can be poled up to provide a porch however we never got the poles to do this with the tent so had to buy them

Licata 400 is ideal as a small family/weekend tent (not that I'm biased) I bought mine so that I could take my 2 youngest boys away without OH.
* Spacious bedroom area (no climbing over each other to get out like in the Nevada!) * Bedroom easily accommodate 3 x 75cm wide airbeds with room to spare * Large living space * Good ventillation * Massive windows let in loads of light * SIG * Standing height throughout * Very quick and easy to pitch * Costs less than £90 * Weighs 15.3kg
Ours has withstood horrendous wind and rain without a leak or snapped pole in sight. You get a lot of good quality tent for your money.
I have a Gelert Lunar 3 which also fits the bill. They are discontinued now but still available if you look around - Autoplus in Norton Teesside still has them for £130 - you can still get the footprint and carpet off the internet too. Having metal poles it is very sturdy, it is easy to put up and also has a great 5000mmHH. Its a great tent for me to go by myself, or an easy alternative to the Kalahari 8 if we want to get away for one or two nights. The only thing that may not be suitable for you is the single bedroom pod.
I looked at the Gerlet Atlantis 4 last week & that is a nice one for a weekend tent as i too wanted all the things you have asked for & was recommended too.
I have seen it on Buy now on Ebay for £89.99.
Go outdoors have one pitched at the one in Oxford so it was nice to actually see it up.
I'll second the recommendation the Gelert Atlantis 4. Plenty on Amazon around the 90quid mark. Footprint and carpet available or make your own f/print with cheap tarp.

Myself & my sister are taking her 8year old & my 4 year old grandson to fforest fields for the August bank holiday in it so will add pics & a review then.

arsenaldes have you not recommended a kampa yet!!??
That would be the Bude 4 I believe! Personally, I prefer the Nevada S
Aren't many left but defintely not a single person pitching tent. You need two people (i.e. 1 inside) to lift the heavy quality flysheet and long fibreglass poles. I've pitched many tents on my own, but this one is a no go. Fortunately, there's two of us to pitch this fab tent.
------------- Love our set-up and need no more tents or gear, so trying to stop looking!
