hi all

anyone own a Salina 400? have you purchased any kind of extension for it and, if so, which one did you get, and did it fit?

I might plumb for a univeral one (ebay sell) but just in case anyone has advice. Vango Salina is a GREAT tent, btw. but porch shape is a little odd and we could do with more covered space at the front sometimes!

I have the 600 and use a tarp and some old windbreak poles - see my gallery images. For this year I have bought a new white tarp for our trip to France (hopefully for shelter from the sun rather than the rain!). Tarps are so much more versatile than standard extensions.

Hi,

I am writing from Barcelona (Spain) and I am possibly the only one with this tent here. But very happy with it. Great in warm weather and also when we got some rain.

I also looked for an awning but Vango has nothing specifical for this tent. At the end I finished with a Decathlon tarp that fits perfect for little less than 25 euros. In order to get extra space to cook and for eating under bad weather we bouth the outwell oklahoma day tent. I'll try to download some pictures.
