We have a 4.2 base seconds which we are very happy with for our one (short)camping trip per year . However, it would be nice to have a porch to sit under as shade from the sun or to shelter from a shower. I know there is not a specific porch for our tent, but I was wondering if anyone has any ideas??
thanks

You could always dock a Base Seconds/XL to it, but that might be a little too enclosed. Or (and cheaper) rig a tarp up to sit over the entrance.

Planned for next year, hopefully!
Summer Solstice wild camp.
Chilled in a Field, July.
Crantock, August. Fouth year with the fantastic Quechua Base Seconds 4.2!
..... and the odd night wild camping in my Argos 1 man tent...

We use a base seconds docked to our 4.2. Also decathlon do a tarp which is £24.99 and can be used as a porch.

I dont think the Base Seconds is a current model now. I picked one up last year in the sales at Decathlon as it was so cheap "just in case".
The XL version is current I believe.

Ive got a kampa day tent to put near front of mine for extra this year.
With the old 4.2 we had the base full as you could add smaller tents under its flaps if you had extra bodies coming with you, they paired quite nicely putting the canopy of the base full over the 4.2's and linking vie the spare toggles/guy strings at the joining doors.
