Hi,

Does anyone have any idea where I can buy one of these.....I've trawled the internet and camping shops but can't find one anywhere

I think you will find the 8 has been discontinued you could try Ebay

we bought ours from jr lesuire but through ebay and wynnster also had some on their own website last time i looked. its a fab family tent :-)

Ebay, wynnster and jr leisure only sell the 6 man which isn't really big enough for us lol.....I'll either have to sell some of the kids or find something else to love as much.....thanks for the replies tho

It may be worth contacting Wynnster/Khyam to see if they have any kicking about in their warehouse, they will sell direct to the public

Somerset Camping had them at the beginning of the season but I see they are no longer appearing on their website.

Have you an alternatives in mind? What's your budget?

I have a Sunncamp Kansas 8 (Shadow 800) made exclusively for Outdoor Megastore at £249

Might be a suitable alternative if you can't get your hands on the Montpelier.

Campasarow.....had a look at the Kansas and it's looks great, not that disimilar to the Montpellier.....but nowhere has these either!!!

It's a shame Outdoor Megastore have sold out of the kansas 8 as its a good tent.

However, as the Sunncamp Shadow is essentially the same tent try and pick up one of those instead.

The 2010 Shadow 800 has an HH of 2000 (the Kanas is slightly better being 3000) but if you go for the 2011 Shadow (sometimes referred to as Shadow 800 DL) then that comes with an HH of 4000 as standard. It can be more expensive however.

Here are some places with either 2010 or 2011 models in stock.

Colour is either the blue/grey (same as the Kansas or a black/grey)

A load of others on ebay too. And if you want to pay a bit more you can get the tent in a polycotton version which comes in a cream and green colourway. There is a private seller who has one of these in an unused condition selling for £275 buy it now or you can make them an offer.
