Hoping someone can help.

Recently bought an Outwell Nevada M - love it!

The front extension is a bit too big for our needs. I've seen that there is a side extension available for some of the other models, but can't find one for the Nevada M.

I've found a picture on this website by user "JODRY" of a Nevada M with a side extension fitted and would love to know where I can get one. I've put the picture on my profile (couldn't work out if I can put a pic on here! Sorry Jodry to pinch your pic)

Can anyone shed any light.

Thanks
G.A.

Hi Glampers I think I am right in saying that the Side Extension for Nevada only fits the Nevada L model & the M only has a front extension.

Thanks for your response Jeff.

That's about what I thought, but the picture I found was definitely of an M model and had a side extension (the pic is on my profile). Perhaps someone has used the side extension from the L and put it on an M ?

The problem with the Nevada M is its a bit too short for a side extension, these need at least 2 poles to drape over but the nevada bedroom pole is lower so it cant really go over that one which only leaves the front and middle pole but as the tent slopes at the front you will probably get a large gap, obscured windows etc.

Dont forget the front extension is not as long as it seems as the sloping front part of the tent goes inside the extension, and its designed for the M so you know it will fit

Thanks for the advice arsenaldes.  Been having another look at the options and think we'll take you advice and go for the front extension.

This camping lark is a bit contagious

Hi Glampers
We had an Outwell universal side canopy which we tried on our M and it didnt work well so for a side one to work it would have to be narrow. I do think youve made the right decision. See what the best price is and do a Go Outdoors price match or see what comes up in their next sale. They are nice little tent though we really like ours as well.

Good luck

I would agree that the nevada m front extension is a good investment. Like you, when I looked at the dimensions of the extension I thought it may be a bit too big for what we needed. When we pitched it we realised that some of the length is actually absorbed as it fits over the top of the tent. It is a really useful space for keeping the camp kitchen in and can also accommodate table and chairs - perfect for alfresco dinning if the weather is not great. Would really not be without ours now.

Thanks everyone for contributing.

I've found a good deal and off to Go Outdoors for the price match guarantee today!

Can't wait to use our new tent and front extension for the first time next weekend.

Will also be my first camping trip - my other half is a seasoned camper in a previous life, but it's a first for me - so excited!!
