Hi any advice would be gratefully received!

I need a tent on a budget but the ones from the high street look so flimsy and I can't afford to waste money.  Ideally it will have 2 sleeping pods side by side but not essential.  Ideally I want to be able to stand up in it.  We wont need a huge living area.

It HAS TO BE EASY to put up as its only one adult and I want a pitch in one design for ease and speed.

Any ideas?

I can't find any reviews for the Ultracamp Carter 4 Berth. Can anyone comment?

I am leaning towards the icarus but still looking for the best deal!

Haven't heard about the Ultracamp Carter but the Icarus has always been a stalwart of the Scouting movement so you know it's got the thumbs up pretty much universally

In other news, yesterday's posters with keen ears to the ground were right.

On friday I popped into millets and bought a Outwell Nevada M tent reduced from £250 to £125.  Its the 2010 model but who cares, its brand new and I think its great. Millets have a big sale on at the minute so maybe getting rid of last years stock. The tent doesn't have the black stripe on the bottom of the tent like this one.  I was looking at the vango Icarus which looks good as well. Gooutdoors have it on sale for £129 for one day only tomorrow I believe.

well ive taken the plunge and purchased the Icarus 500.  I got it from Blacks online and searched for a voucher code and got 20% plus free postage so am pleased with that!

Now, can someone pleased tell me where I can buy some sunshine? :)
