If you look in the Argos catalogue you will find some red and blue double airbeds (they are in the sale at £9.29) which are narrower than standard ones at 112cm so 2 should fit in
Be warned that some people have found that the Argos ones are not as pictured. Its best to go for the box sided rubberised (red and blue) airbeds as the tubular sided ones are far less comfortable and can roll if you lie on the edge. As they are not very wide, this is particularly likely with singles. There has also been suggestions that the Argos ones have only thin pillars of rubber holding the top and bottom together inside, which can go - resulting in great balls appearing in the airbed and leading to the failure of other pillars. You end up with a giant ball instead of a mattress.
Highlander do box sided doubles - e.g. Towsure. A lot more expensive, but we've found our son's Highlander single matches our 30 plus year old double. There are other retailers selling them too. Gelert also do/did one. We find them quite comfortable - just as well as our more modern Coleman Comforts won't fit in our touring tent (too tall and wide).
I'd ring to check that they come with boxed sides before purchase as when we bought our son one several with pictures showing box sides were actually tubular sided when I rang to check.
If the price is an issue rather than life span and the Argos ones come box-sided then the price may be worth the risk.
------------- Love our set-up and need no more tents or gear, so trying to stop looking!
Weve used the Argos ones for a total 17 days now and have had absolutely NO problems at all with we have 2 singles and 1 double never ever rolled off them, found them comfortable enough and have never deflated some friends have also got them as well for their weekend tent and they are pleased with them as well
------------- Experience enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.
Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
Hello smjy. I would recommend the Regatta Hyperdome 6. At the moment it is in the argos sale catalogue for half price ie £100. We bought one as a last minute purchase for our camping trip and i must say it is extremely good.
It has a good sized porch/living area which would give you plenty of room for tables and chairs etc. The two bedrooms are a really decent size and you probably could get six in reasonably comfortably. We are impressed by its waterproof capabilities a few drips around the edges but nothing to worry about. ..Camping in Cornwall is reasonably straightforward with it!!
Putting it up was not difficult either as the poles and the seam to feed it into are all colour coordinated.
As the meercat says, simples!
Good luck!
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
I have an Easy Camp Boston 300 which isn't a great deal smaller than the Boston 400 and likewise the Toronto 400.
Whilst it isn't the biggest living space in the world, the windows give it such an open feeling and unless the rain is being driven at an angle by the wind, you can have the front door open when it's raining as the front of the tent isn't angled as most tunnel tents seem to be.
After camping in the rain at the Air Tattoo last weekend, myself and my mate were able to cook outside no problem. We just put the camping table right up against the tent under the canopy and only the outer edge of the table got wet. The gas stove was fine and we even found the heat from the cooker kept the outside porch area quite warm!
If I had a choice of a 4 man living area with huge windows or a 6 man living area in the dark, I know what I would choose.

Hello greeneagle, just wondering if you could help me, ive just purchased the regatta hydrodome 6 man tent and when I put it up the pole on the left hand side of the rooms had no support clips to the tent when all the others do. Just wondering if it is a fault. Many thanks warriorj.
I assume you mean the clips on the outside of the tent that clip the flysheet onto the poles...if so you are correct- the fly should connect onto each pole - I think - with perhaps two or three clips per pole.
If your tent has one set missing it is definitely a fault and you should return it.
Just to also add a glowstick or two should eliminate the waking up in the pitch black screaming element. They provide enough light for it not to be pitch black but not enough to stop anyone from being able to sleep.
