Hi All

I am going to the Deershed Festival ( http://www.deershedfestival.com/ ) this Friday but can't decide which tent to take.

Originally I planned to use the Green Tee 500 as it has a small pack size and is reasonably lightweight and quick to erect:

Used it for 1 very wet night and it was OK for 2 of us but no real living space or room for chairs or table.

However the weather forecast is pretty rubbish and I'm now wondering if I would be better off taking the Licata 400:.

It is heavier and will take a bit longer to pitch but will give us much more space, especially if we're going to be stuck inside for any length of time.

What would you do? Take a smaller, quicker to erect tent with minimal room or a larger, more spacious tent that is heavier and takes longer to put up?
It is just me and my 9 year old son going to the festival and he is pretty good at mucking in.

Everything we take has to be carried from the carpark to the camping field (I will be using a trolleyand a pack n roll box) so I need to keep things minimal (not something I'm very good at!)

Please can someone HELP ME!!!!!!

I'd go for the Green Tee. There is usually such a lot going on at festivals, you don't spend that much time in the tent in our experience. Having to carry the stuff to your pitch really focuses the mind on what's essential!!

I would also go for the Green Tee. Less to to carry, quicker to pitch. We only take a small tent for festivals as the only time we are by the tent is in a morning while we are lazing around, before the bands start & the entertainment begins
