I have an Ohio XL and front awning, I have not put them up yet but will attempt to do it this weekend as we go away on holiday next Friday. I have looked online and am pretty sure about the actual tent but can anyone please tell me the best way to put the awning on?. I will be doing it on my own as we have two small children so the wife will be busy !
Thanks a lot,
Rgds,
Jim

If its anything like the arkansas awning, put down the bathtub groundsheet and build the awning round it. Last thing is to put the retaining straps over the tent
Hi Jim
Put the kids in the car because you're seriously going to need the missus to help putting your Ohio up, we have the L and it needs two of us and if its windy its even harder. There is you-tube clip of someone doing it alone, god knows how he's done it, I wouldn't recommend attempting it, you'll find yourself laid up for the rest of your hols with back ache . Feel how heavy the tent and poles are in the bag, then double it when trying to pitch
Have fun
I would also recommend at least 2 people to put it up. When our kids were younger we used to put them in the car with a bag of "goodies" to keep them happy while we pitched

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
