We've used a Vango Diablo 600 XP for a couple of years, which is a great tent, but on the large side and we've had to book jumbo pitches for it twice. We also use a Vango Colorado 600 for shorter breaks and for site with no jumbo pitches. The Diablo's layout does mean there's a lot of wasted space on the pitch, but it's got all the space we need for a family of 4 for longer breaks.
Seeing the Vango Maritsa 600 pitched, and reading the reviews which have been very helpful, we feel that the Maritsa 600 or possibly 700 could replace the other two tents. My question is, does the 600 or 700 need a jumbo pitch or are the dimensions such that it fits on a standard fit?

Can only speak for C&CC pitch sizes (tent max. 9 x 5 metres) but the 600 is well within and the 700 is 10cm too wide. The wardens on all the sites we've visited have been fine with a tent a few cm. over size as long as you're not encroaching on the fire gap.

Our Vermont L is 770cm x 415 cm and weve never had any problems so you should be OK with the 600 cant comment on the extra width of the 700 though and of course pitches can vary from site to site
Hope this helps
