I don't have a vango inflatable tent, but I do have a new generation low pressure inflatable tent. I use the yellow plastic style pump, very common these days for most inflatable products which is used on the you tube Vango video, but is not the one supplied by them. This is also mentioned in the video. They state 12 to 15 lbs a sq inch. I think you would struggle to get this much pressure from one of these pumps, but would think I normally acheive about 3lbs a sq inch with mine before the connector pops off. The valve is a non return valve, so you will not loose air when it pops off. To deflate, you have to unscrew the outside of the valve. I have had no problems with mine collapsing in strong winds, even with no guy lines attatched, at this lower pressure. My tent is a smaller four man, so less wind resistance. Hope this helps.
------------- Canvas tent, paraffin light, petrol stove. Heaven
I'd rather be kayaking.
Spent up, not pent up, just had my new tent up.
