Hey guys I've just bought a tempest 200 and would like some recommendations on a suitable tarp or awning. I bought it with the Vango adventure tarp but it didn't fit or should I say that when I did get it to fit I only gained about 30cm. My second choice would be this Coleman Classic Awning but if any of you guys have a better idea let me know.

Smiler

The Coleman Classic Awning its like a giant sail and behaves as such. You could look at the Quechua tarp as that is almost 3m x 3m - which gives you an extra 1m of length over the Adventure Tarp. No elasticated side, just guy backwards.

Love our set-up and need no more tents or gear, so trying to stop looking!

I've just been given the Jack Wolfskin Moonshadow tarp as a birthday present.
Not cheap but a lightweight quality product which will more than meet your requirements in fact in decent weather you could do without your tempest.

No idea what would fit better but just to say...I own both the Tempest 200 and this Coleman awning and it would engulf four or five Tempests, belive me. It is one massive piece of kit.

Looked at the Decathlon tarp?

Thanks for all the advice guys. I think I'll go for the Decathlon/Quechua. I should have in the first place but I guess I know now. Right where's that credit card.
