Hi After lurking here for over a year and using all the great advice that you members share I have finally been pushed into posting myself.

I have been searching the web, page after page until my eyes are dropping out and cant find anywhere that has a gelert horizon 8 footprint in stock.  Is there another ootprint that would be compatable with our tent,  Please dont aske me to make one myself as it is just me and my sister and we are not very good at DIY.

Please help me out.

and welcome!! I got mine from camping and general!! and the def had them in stock still last week!!! they do have a web site! If not the go-outdoors Hi gear tents are Gelert so their 8 man would be the same!!!
Hope this helps well worth getting 1!!

ebay have a few gelert 8 man footprints how about checking the measurements and seeing if 1 of those would do the job

A lot of the 8 man tunnel tents I have seen are of a very similar size and design, I'm sure there must be a footprint that will fit - don't give up!

Thanks Pally. Im going for the Hi Gear Kalahari 10. It is 10cm's shorter in length and 25 cm's wider than the horizon 8 but Im thinking maybe a trim or folding it under itself will sort that out.

Hiya both. I phoned Campmania this morning and although the website says in stock they dont actully have any.. Waiting to hear from abc camping, the dont have a phone number on the website so Ive emailed them.

Unfortunately Gelert have totally sold out of the Horizon 8 Footprint for the season. If you get desperate we can find a universal groundsheet you could cut to size?
