Had a fantastic 5 nights away and the Quechua Base 4.2 never let us down despite a storm the 1st night and rain most nights after that.Great tent for first time campers.

Then on the fourth night noticed a small rip on the door between the tent fabric and the zip.Wondered if the door was too taut. Thought about stitching it as absolutely love the tent.Rang Decathlon as it has a 2 year guarantee. They were excellent.Offered a full refund or new tent.Of course went for the swap. Can't shake the Bug!!

Nice to know still have 18 months peace of mind!!

Yep, the Quechua's are great... but if something does go wrong Decathlon seem to be very quick to sort the issue out.

If they are delivering it, you might also be left with the damaged old one... which can no doubt be repaired pretty easily......

That's cool. But surely the new tent provided by them must also have a 2 year guarantee??? (edited to add the "2" which I meant to put in first time round)

It came with a 2 year warranty. Im guessing they have had it for 6 months, hence the 18 months comment.

Obviously the new tent doesn't extend the warranty, so the warranty will still run out 2 years from the initial tents purchase.

I think im making sense? lol

They told me the 2 years guarantee was from my initial purchase date but still a great guarantee to have. So impressed with their aftersales service I'm always looking for camping gear from Decathlon. Just bought my daughter a MTB from there and you get a full bike set-up and a free service after 6 months.
