We're thinking of getting an awning / canopy for our Outwell Montana 6, but find the Outwell awning a bit too expensive. I see that Go Outdoors is selling a Corado 6 canopy for just £45 at the moment and was wondering if anyone has tried fitting a Corado canopy on a Montana 6 tent before? I know it will be different greens, but that doesn't bother me, as long as it fits and saves money.
Many thanks!
Isabelle

Don't have a Montana, we have a Corado 6 and a canopy.
The canopy attaches to the tent using 4 velcro patches at the top, there are 2 adjustable straps to hook onto the next frame back and once attached the elastic around the canopy 'seals' around the end of the tent.
There are other velcro loops to help keep it attached to the poles.
Okay your question isn't answered but I hope the info helps.
Hello Vince, thank you very much for your reply. It does help indeed, as I didn't know how it attached to the tent itself. I thought it was sort of independent and just held with guy ropes and tent pegs. Sounds like it's not going to work. I won't rush and buy one yet anyway, unless someone posts here to say they did buy a corado awning for a montana 6 and it worked.
Hi
You wont get any extra room as the Montana front slopes(Corado is vertical) it will take up most of the canopy and will only act as a rain shield for the door
Hope this helps
