Have just received my new esvo hazelnoot tent and the instructions are in Dutch (no Dutch friends to help translate). Any suggestions how best to erect it. Have a few large elastic bands things that I'm not sure where they go. and a brown plastic things that looks as though it goes through a pole. Which order is it best for the poles to go up. Any suggestions would be great. This is my first tent so its all very new to me.

Hope this helps you a little!

Find an equal spot that is free of stones and branches.

Put a footprint underneath the groundsheet of the tent itself, to be sure the groundsheet of the tent stays clean and won't be damaged.

De opbouw:

The pitching:

- Straighten out the groundsheet en be sure there are no folds left, then peg it down.

- Put up de front poles (200cm) in the living with on top of that the ridgepole (guide it trough the tunnel sleeve) now tension the tent with the extra storm lines. (see sketch with *)

- The heighest pole (230cm) can now be put in the tent with on top of that the ridgepole, Be sure that you put on the rain caps directly. The poles can now be put on the footplates.

- Before you tension the wings, re-tension the the storm lines again so the front of the tent will hang a little forward. Then tie the guy-ropes to the wings of the tent (be sure all zippers are closed)

- Now you can pitch/tension the canopy with the desired poles and long guy-ropes.

- The innertent should first be fastend to the walls and the bottom with the hooks, Then hang the ridge to the ridge-strap and velcro it around the pole.

TIP!!!

Tip: Place an elastic cord around the ridge-strap to be sure you will never forget it while pitching and never lose it.

Wij wensen u veel kampeerplezier toe.

We wish you a very nice camping trip.

1 x Tentstok 230 cm
1x Pole 230 cm
2 x Tentstok 200 cm
2x Pole 200 cm
2 x Verstelbare tentstok 3-delig
2x Adjustable pole 3-parted
1 x Verstelbare nokstok 2-delig
1x Adjustable pole 2-parted

Benodigde ruimte Hazelnoot ca. 420 x 700 cm.

Needed space for the Hazelnoot tent approximately 420 x 700 cm.

So this thingy: (what i called ridge-strap) is used to hang the innertent on top of the pole:
