Hi all you helpful people,

Here is my situation: just spent two weeks in  France (fantastic) but current outfit is

a, too hot - vango tigris 800 polyester and front extension

b, takes ages to set up - as above plus seperate freestanding sprayway canopy.

OH and I really want a polycotton but dont't want to spend £000's , Not very keen on Outwell as excessively priced even if  good quality.

Trawling the web i found this (hypercamp porto ercole) which appears to tick all the boxes including a canopy:

http://www.tent-tents.com/overzichtpagina3.asp?cat=1&id=14&arid=4533

Has anyone got any experience of this model and can anyone tell me if the front canopy is removable. Looking forward to replys as we like this and have just enough to get one now.

just bought one and tested it out - having had a reliable Robens family tent for years - after a hefty thunderstorm decided we needed to upgrade - and duly made our way around the campsite spotting its hypercamp big sister- Alu 6 explorer. After talking to the owners of this beast and being convinced of its solidness we journeyed to the shop in Holland and bought this smaller version  - its fantastic - love it - took 45 minutes to put up with 2 of us. We have 2 children and it was way big enough for cooking, sitting/ table and eating etc. Feels roomy, light and very substantial.Warning -  Large 2 boxes it comes in and the weight of it makes for a large storage area though and we have now a trailer to transport it and the other glamping equipment :)

Really considering one of these, is there any more feedback?, Is there 1m at either side of the front door for my units? Also how wide and long is the canopy ,it is hard to judge on photos. We have a long bench 170cm would this fit under ok?   The price is great , we were going to have arrive to holland as we were after the trail 600 and they don't deliver As it's too big. This ticks all the boxes and is the same price as a polyester equivalent in the uk. we need a polycotton as most of our breaks are in France. And we have a trailer lol

Thanks in advance for your replies..."
