There have been lots of sales on tents in the last few weeks.

I think the 2012 brochures have just been published so that means that this year's tents are reduced because they're now technically of out of date.

So I reckon now is probably quite a good time.

Lots of people who own/work in the shops on here - maybe one of them will be nice and answer honestly :)

Hello i think i may have just the tent for you, i have a Hi Gear Corado 6 and it has a sewn in ground sheet but a flap at the door that folds down flat there is an issue with this not being wind or bug proof but if accessibilty is the main thing these problems can be overlooked and over come with a little ingenuity.

The 4 berth is currently £199 and the 6 berth is £299 both have a canopy built in at the front with and additional canopy availiable to buy making a huge undercover area.

Have a look on the go outdoors website for details and check the review section on here for other users thoughts. Good luck in your search

We bought our tent in September 2008 from Catterick Caravans, a definate end of season bargain at £699 brand new in the bag. the indoor display model, went for even less!.

The 2009 list price was £1335 and the current equivelent tent now sells for £1449

It's all about timing and doing your homework, and lady luck of course.

And also far more fun hunting for a bargain, than just wandering into GoOutdoors etc, and paying the going rate, having said that, I am the same in whatever I buy.

In the last three days I've been to branches of Millets, Blacks, Mountain Warehouse and to CC Outdoors in Beverley. All of them had big sales on, heavy price reductions on tents and a wide range of other camping gear.
