Hi there,
I am new to camping and to this forum too but i hope someone out there may be able to help.
I have recently bought a Hi Gear Corado 6 which for the price that they sell them for at Go Outdoors is a very good tent indeed, I have even read that they are re-badged Gelert products so perhaps thats a good thing?.
Having recently used it on a 5 day trip to Cornwall, It became apparent that a useful addition would be a porch/awning arrangement to enclose the front canopy area, this would make this space much more useable and further protect the front entrance of the tent. Unfortunately, Hi Gear don't offer such a product, only a further extension. Does anybody out there know of an awning or porch from other tents that would fit the Corado 6?
Many thanks in advance.

Not sure why you want to enclose the porch section of the tent, we have a Corado 6 and a canopy extension, it works great.
We've just come back from a couple of weeks in Scotland, during the first week we sat outside under the canopy / extension for practically every meal - mainly so we weren't dazzled by the sun.
We usually have out kitchen / cooker set up under the canopy so the extension gives a little more protection from the wind.
The reason for the porch would be to be able to leave the cooking stuff outside. To get an idea of what i mean see the Kampa filey 6 vestibule or Kampa Croyde 6 porch... Shame they are blue as i think they might fit.
I leave all my cooking stuff outside in the canopy including my gas cool box. Sheltered from the elements. I've never had a problem with theft even when I used to use a gazebo for cooking in.
We leave our cooking stuff outside too, we have an Outwell kitchen unit and it had the hob on top, its always outside.
In our second week in Scotland we didn't put up our extension as we weren't eating at the tent much - we were visiting relatives mainly. We had a couple of days /nights of rain and only the end of the kitchen got very slightly wet, if we had the extension up then it would have stayed dry.
Also, keeping your coolbox outside would be better as they only usually keep contents cool relative to the outside temperature and it can get pretty hot inside a tent if left closed up whilst you are out for the day.
Eating outside was a big part of our first week, the canopy helped with that as it keeps any breeze off of you (except head on obviously)
