Hi, first post here so be gentle with me.
Just wondering if a large tent with only
2 people in is frowned upon on campsites.
We have got a kalahari 10 (with porch) and enjoy
the space but the kids don't want to come any
more , so should we downsize or not?
Ady

Hi,welcome to the forum ,we have a couple of 6 berths and there are only 2 of us with our dog,if you like your set up,why change it? Doesn't matter what others think. On our last holiday a couple of weeks ago we were camped next to a couple with one child who had a 9 berth tent, didn't matter to us or anyone else, they were a lovely family, our dog made friends with their son. Your camping trips, your choice.

Hi and welcome, we have a Maritsa 700 for 2 adults and a dog for most of the time, some time we do have the grandaughters with us. we have never had anything said to us, we like the space, and the porch for the kitchen stuff, saying that we do have a 5 man weekend tent when its just a 2 night stay.

2013 Nothing as yet , trying to get new boyfriend to go camping soon. Selling Maritisa 700 , so we can put it towards a VW Camper.
We have a Kampa Studland 8 for us and a 7 yr old, dog occasionally. But we chose this one to gives the option of inviting daughters friends etc. Who cares what others think, you've paid your pitch fee, it's nobody elses business what size tent you have.

Don't worry about it, what about all those caravan's which only have 2 people in them and they nearly always have an awning doubling the size of their accomodation.
We have a Hi Gear Corado 6 + Canopy Extension and there's only 2 adults and a 9yr old, mind you given the choice I'd have a smaller tent (Dutch style) but my wife is new to camping and likes her space
