We`ve recently got ourselves a Outwell  nevada m and quite like the look of the extention but our worry is it looks like a wind trap (you know what i mean stop sniggering), how have people who own one found it to be? ,thanks Harvey

A wind trap. You just have to be carefull which way you pitch the tent. Don't peg down the material either, we made that mistake and it ripped!!!

We have the Nevada M with extension. The extension is really good and is a great place to sit out in showery weather but you do need to be careful in high winds. We always take our extension down if the forecast is bad. It doesn't take long and it's better than ending up with a damaged tent.

Harvey, we have the Nevada M and couldn't recommend the front extension enough, ours took a real hammering by the wind back on a cliff top site in Norfolk without any problems, I must say I doubt it would have made it without the Delta pegs we used on the guy lines, as by the morning after the worst night all the outwell pegs used on the pegging points were clean out of the ground leaving only the Deltas holding strong without movement!

The extension is the perfect shelter from the rain and a great place to cook and eat . Wouldn't camp without it.

hi

We have the extension, and used it in Cornwall in all weather, it has made our camping trips sooo much better as the space it has allows us to potter in all weather and also cook and eat, I would also recommend the carpet, an absolute must!

I would not leave home without it!
