We used a Coleman Classic Awning with our low tent a couple of years ago, and it was 'okay'. The height is just enough (OH is 6'2"), but it was very wobbly in the wind, a couple of extra clingons down the side helped, but it wasn't a complete success.
I got on better with it with the Nevada and using a set of steel poles for the Lulworth, until an unexpected gust in the back garden, pulled it down and bent a pole
