Suitable for an adult and 3 children. i need to be able to put it up myself. Some inside space needed. Also must be one large bedroom (or unzippable partition) not one room at each end.

I am a bit bewlidered by all the choice atm and there is nowhere to go to look at them in the flesh. nothing too pricey please

we love outwell tents! It all depends on your preference really. Just been into yeomans today and they have a lovely tent in there, that has been reduced quite alot! outwell virginia 5. It's fab value for £150 i think and it's rather light. Not sure if you'll be able to put it up on your own or not....i suppose what ever tent you go for, for the size you need, you may need help the first few times. Its a lovely size inside. I was admiring it, as it's like our weekend tent we bought a couple of years ago, minnesot 6.

hmm, not sure about the Icarus, it felt very dark inside to me. I am currently drooling over a gelert Cabaana 4..

I'd prefer the tent to be darker inside personally, as the early morning sun shining in your tent wont be quite so bright when it shines on your tent, waking you up earlier then is necessary!! ( i love my sleep!!)

I use a Kyham Freelander just for myself, and sometimes the little dog. I wouldn't like to have an adult plus 3 children in the bedroom area. IMHO it would not be big enough.

Its another vote for the Outwell Virginia 5.  Just posted this on a similar thread.

Very easy tent to put up on my own.  Similar layout to the Icarus 500 but I prefer to have the option of allowing extra light into the tent as it has more windows.  Good luck with deciding as there are lots of little crackers out there

I love my gelert atlantis 5, fits two double airbeds with a gap between. I used it this weekend just me and 3 children and was excellent, can't wait to go for a longer period (hopefully with OH) and use the porch too as have just ordered the carpet.
